Creating a dance through the isolation period of a global pandemic was a complex and interesting project. Using technology to create movement was a huge learning experience. I used this time to challenge myself creatively, creating a pas de deux completely through zoom rehearsals. With social distancing rules in place I began to extend the work. The creation was titled ‘The Things We Left Unsaid.’ Made up of six movements the ballet shows a couple moving through life. I had these questions in my head when I was creating the work, ‘Do we every truely get to tell the person we love all our struggles? Or at the end do we regret the things we didn’t share or wish we said?
